This is the most non sense post I have seen in a long time. All gyms have a monthly membership fees, have snacks and all (not free of course, what world did u come from?), trainers are expensive in all gyms but it’s your option to choose if u want one. If you got no results from working out you simply have no clue on what u are doing, bottom line. This blog is about marketing, so smarty, you should know that sports (gym,supplements) related stuff are very expensive…duh!
This whole post is absolutely ridiculous and non sense.
Learn how gyms work, how to exercise, how to eat right, how to do the right exercises, and you will get some good results. Also their membership sounds fair…I pay $30 a month for 24hr fitness.
Ohhh by the way, you said 80% of people cancels their memberships within a year….haha… it’s because they have no clue on what the heck they are doing and see no results and …. they are plain lazy to go to the gym, since in order to get a nice body CONSISTENCY is a must.
I do not agree it’s a scam, but I agree that the “Gym” niche is very costy. And the funny thing that you said, you and your friends are sitting at MCDonalds…WHAT??? and your friend Susan got no results…haha…tell her she needs to get off bigmacs if she wants to get into shape…. You conplaint about not getting results but to get results you need to know what u doing, something u and ur friends did not seem to know.

I have dweeped with those guys in the past too (shame on me I know) lol

“Systems who will do the work for you” and all that c— ROFL %-) cost you about 50 bucks a month and “teach you all about internet marketing”. Make videos, write articles and in 3 weeks your will have an organisation of 10000 – NOT!!
The truth is they don’t develop organisations and leaders…Now I have been with both feet on the ground for the past 2,5 years and have an organisation of over 2500, and no they don’t bring me a six figure income (yet) but now I work with good people, train them to become good leaders and really becoming professional! it’s a 5 year plan which most of the “gurus” seem to forget… I do meetings, call leads, 3-ways, etc… Yes, doing the work Of course I also work the internet but not like they teach.

PS: your RecruitMorePeople course has the best scripts EVER in MLM! This course is usable and teached me some truly powerful communication techniques. Thank you from Belgium,

Excellent points, Tony. I think part of the reason for the explosion of this behavior is basic human nature. For whatever reason, humans are far more likely to spend money on HOW TO courseware, coaching, and mentoring services than actually taking action and just getting on with it (as Rich de Vos likes to say so much) – it also takes about 60 minutes on better networker and the warrior forum, and you suddenly know more than 99.9% of the rest of players out there (man, are people LOST in this industry or what?)

AND, “Train, train, train… doesn’t anybody do the business anymore?”

The thing that bugs me most about many teachers/trainers/coaches offering “systems” especially on the Net, is that the success of their customers/students comes from selling the system NOT applying it to build their MLM businesses.

But then I’m very old fashioned.

Bravo! I agree with you! I am little bit old fashioned when it comes to coaching! It is refreshing to see real names and sad to know what people really fall for and how some are so blind that they cannot find the real mentor and go after someone who looks cool or act cool… RESULTS. RESULTS. That is what matters and not some fancy cars that usually are not theirs anyway!
